The Speaker
Meet Christina Martin
Christina was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes (T1D) when she was 13 years old and it has been the catalyst for her career and health advocacy work!
She is currently a professional dancer, an accredited personal trainer with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Kinesiology, the founder and Executive Director of the non-profit, Type Zero Foundation, and a motivational speaker.
In 2019, she became the first female with T1D to compete on NBC’s hit show, American Ninja Warrior, as a way to bring more awareness to diabetes and the mission of her nonprofit - creating a safe space for everyday support. Christina now speaks on stages to help kids, adults, and businesses to take life changing steps and be the strongest versions of themselves.
